The chances are that the brick that you are trying to match to is no longer manufactured so you are being forced to look at the "closest match". The trouble is that the "closest match" is often not close enough leaving your extension or refurb work standing out.
This is very common problem due to the extreme consolidation of the UK brick industry over the last twenty years, with many brick works closing and brick types being discontinued.
The Solution.....is ExtensionMatch Brick Tinting. Build in the "closest match" or even a cheap bog standard brick type and then use ExtensionMatch to match the colour of your original brick work perfectly. Our process if fully garenteed for the life of your brick/building and we will match every slight colour variation and natural weathering. Our technisions visit your site when your brickwork is complete, prepare a sample panel for approval, and then proceed with the full tint, leaing the site when you are happy. The tinted brickwork will match perfectly and weather naturaly aongside the original brickwork.
Rather than use a 'closest match' which can prove costly and still leave your extension having a 'bolted on' appearance we recommend that you use a plain colour, low-cost, brick, or even a non-standard, which provides us with a great 'blank canvass to colour tint match perfectly once built. The cost saving may pay for the brick tinting process and leave you with a PERFECT match with your new brickwork blending seemlessly with your original brickwork, or it may prove slightly cheaper (bonus), or may be slightly more expensive (but you will have a PERFECT brick match) - it depends on the individual case.
Our process is fully guaranteed for the life of the brick/build and will weather as normal alongside the normal, untreated, brickwork. We also match the mortar as well - no matter how close your brick match is the mortar joint can easily be out on colour, even slightly, meaning that your bricks simply do not match - never underestimate the difference the mortar joint colour can make.
